The folding top and folded in rectangular wood, with thin corners and burrs, with rounded corners, opens to reveal the original fitting of the felt on a frieze with shaped supports and roundel medallions, supported by a cannon barrel pillar rotated in a quadrature base with rolling feet and compliant rounds.
Exceptional color and original patina, with chosen yew cuts, maintaining the original anguished felt insert, this rare table is certainly for the collector or demanding customer.
