A tea caddy in the shape of a mahogany sarcophagus from the Regency, with wooden boxwood strings.
English around 1825.
The upper part of the hinge with the work key opens to reveal three compartments with a lid, with original brass fruit basket handles on both sides, the entire foot on the brass paw feet.
Good color and proportions.
